What does Vekta cost?

Coach seats are free, and stay free however many athletes a coach works with. Athletes are €19.99 a month, or €179.99 a year, which works out at €15 a month and saves 25 percent.

Who pays, the coach or the athlete?

The coach decides, athlete by athlete. A coach can cover the athletes they want to include in their service and leave the others to pay for their own seat directly. An athlete whose coach covers them simply gets access.

Is there a free trial?

Accepted Answer

Yes, 14 days. A coach account is free permanently, so a coach never pays for their own seat, and the trial is what covers the athlete side: a coach can add as many athletes as they like and run Vekta on real data for 14 days before any athlete seat is charged. An athlete signing up on their own gets the same 14 days.

Do I need a coach to use Vekta?

No. Vekta works for an athlete training alone as well as it does for one working with a coach. Adaptive plans, the power profile and daily readiness all run independently. Athletes who do have a coach get the shared workspace on top of that.

How do athletes sign up?

Accepted Answer

Athletes start in the app. They download Vekta from the App Store or Google Play and create an account there. Coaches sign up on the web, using the button on this page.

What devices and apps does Vekta work with?

Accepted Answer

Garmin, Wahoo, Hammerhead, Coros, Zwift, Whoop and Oura all connect directly, along with sensors including CORE, Stryd and Tymewear. Connecting a device is what pulls training history in, so it is the first step after signing up, whether that is a coach setting up a roster or an athlete starting alone.

Can I move across from another platform?

Yes. Connect a device and up to five years of training history imports automatically, so athletes arrive with the context behind their past sessions rather than a blank slate. The same applies to an athlete moving on their own. Coaches also get guided help moving their workout library across.
